The former spreads the keys out so they're easier to hit, and the latter is more intuitive and turns Frederic into a typing game, since it's the home row, and from the home row, you should just know how to hit the bonus notes. 引用自 Ayelis:This is awesome and I'm glad someone made a tutorial for it, but you did know you can change the default controls from AWSEDRF, right? I just tried to be as detailed as I could but it's not that complicated, the software itself is pretty intuitive. Now just follow the same instructions with the rest of the keys mapping them to there respective keys.

You've now mapped F on the MIDI keyboard to perfecty reproduce a keystroke. Then instead of mapping it to A on a 'key down event' you'd map it to A on a 'Key up event'. This will the capture you letting go of the key.


To do this, you just repeat the same thing you did when capturing the MIDI before however you press down before you check the box and then once checked release the key. Now you just have to duplicate this (or create a new one) and create a translator that will recognize when you release the key on the MIDI Keyboard. Now you have the F on your MIDI keyboard outputting the letter A. On the outgoing tab, you'd just click Key Down Event and then type an A, also uncheck the Enable Key Repeat checkbox. This will then take all velocities into account so you will not have to set it to fixed (if you can do that) or if you're just stuck with a touch sensitive keyboard. If you do not have a fixed velocity keyboard change the last two numbers in the box at the left of the capture MIDI box (look like 90 41 66) to pp so it looks like 90 41 pp. This will be for a fixed velocity keyboard. This will show something like 'Note on #1: F4, vel 100). To do this I made the incoming MIDI message to be when I press the MIDI note down so an F, however you must check the capture MIDI box before you press it down and then uncheck it before you release the key, this will ensure it only captures you pressing it down (rather then the press and release). So, I did it from F to B (which is the range in the game complete with correct mapping of the sharps/flats) and just gave them an output of the default keys on the game (A,W,S,E,D,R,F) respective to where they are. Then you'd go to the outgoing tab, choosing 'key stroke emulation' on the drop down menu, then typing in the letter. Then it's just a matter of changing the midi message trigger (Found in the incoming tab) to whatever note you want on the keyboard and then capturing it via the capture MIDI checkbox.

Name it whatever and then click on the other big plus, that one says create new translator when hovered over.

Once downloaded (and MIDI keyboard plugged in) open it up and create a new preset (the big plus in the toolbar, that says 'create new translator preset' when hovered over).

Here's what you do anyways:ĭownload a piece of software called 'Bome's MIDI translator Classic' it's totally free (you can buy it but the only limitation I can see on the free version is a prompt comes up at the start saying buy it for about 15 seconds and then you can close it). So I searched for stuff and stuff didn't come up so I had to concoct my own stuff to do the stuff I wanted. Hey, so I started this game this morning and really wanted to use my MIDI keyboard to play the notes rather then my crappy cheap keyboard with tiny buttons.
